2008 "Migrants on the Move" Birdwatch.
This year our annual "Migrants on the Move" birdwatch is taking place on 13th April one month earlier than last year. Our expert team will be at the Heybridge Basin on the Blackwater Estuary with their optical equipment to show members of the public the birds. Most years over 50 different species of birds are seen and one year we were even lucky enough to see an Osprey. There will also be RSPB sales goods and leaflet stalls. Please come along between 10am and 2pm. Just follow the RSPB signs from the Heybridge Basin car park over the lock and onto the sea wall in the direction of Maldon.
