West Hanningfield Reservoir
There is a reserve at the south eastern end of the reservoir which is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of its large number of wildfowl. Gadwell, Tufted Duck and Pochard are three of the important breeding species. As well as the reservoir there is woodland, meadows and woodland glades where you will find typical woodland birds.
There is a visitor centre and hides. Open daily 9am-5pm.
