Fundraising Events 2008

Our Group's aim is to promote the RSPB and its projects in our area and to raise funds for the RSPB.
Two of the ways we do this are by attending local shows, fetes and galas, and by organising collections at local supermarkets and in Chesterfield Town Centre.

For the second half of 2008 we have the following events in our calendar:

Collections at Sainsbury supermarket in Chesterfield on Friday 4th July and Tesco supermarket in Clowne on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September.

Attendance at events where where we take our gazebos and all that goes under them (birdfood, sales goods, leaflets, displays, membership information) on:
Sunday 22nd June - RSPCA show at Holmebrook Valley Park
Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th July - Wildlife event at Hardwick Park Centre
Wednesday 13th August - Ashover Show
Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th August - Linacre Woodland Fsetival
Saturday 23rd August - Froggatt Show

And finally, a Feed the Birds event at Dobbies Garden Centre, Barlborough on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November.
