Carr Vale Flash Nature Reserve, Bolsover

A new wetlands area caused by mining subsidence, situated 7km east of Chesterfield, which has been further developed by Derbyshire County Council and Derbyshire Wildlife Trust. An exciting variety of wildlife, especially birds, has been attracted to the area. For more information use the link to DWT website on our Links page.
