Porthgwarra

An all day walk looking for migrant and resident birds, with hopefully some sea watching too. Porthgwarra is an amazingly beautiful place on a late spring day and there are always birds to see. Bring a packed lunch with you. Leader; Viv Stratton.

Dragonflies and butterflies at Windmill Farm
Location: Meet at the reserve car park (turn off the Lizard main road at the 'Wild Camping' sign and go to the end of the straight road) Map ref. SW694 152.
Birds too of course! As the birds quieten down after breeding, those other colourful winged wonders, dragonflies, damselflies and butterflies come to the fore. Windmill Farm reserve, near The Lizard, is a great place to see them. Bring wellies, as it can be boggy. Leader; Dougy Wright

Evening sea safari
Location: Meet at Newquay Harbour car park. Look for the boat named 'ATLANTIC DIVER'
An evening boat trip out of Newquay Harbour around the local headlands and then out to sea. Possible kittiwake, fulmars, gannets, terns, seals maybe a dolphin or two and even a basking shark. Bring warm clothing and a warm drink. Leaders, Chris Lowe (skipper) and Dave Thomas
