About us
We have been established since 1979 and currently have over 350 members. We pride ourselves on being a friendly group of people who appreciate not only birds but all aspects of natural history.
Our newsletters (published in February and September) give full details of our programme. Indoor meetings, with illustrated talks, regularly attract audiences of 120 members (with wheelchair access) and are held on the third Thursday of each month from September to April. Regular birdwatching field trips, for both beginners and the more experienced, visit sites in Somerset, Devon and Dorset.
We look forward to welcoming you to our group - all events are open to the general public.

7.30pm Local Group Members £2.00, Non Members £3.00 and Under 18's Free. Annual membership fees: Single £4. Joint: £6 Under 18 = £1 Annual membership fees: Single - £4.00, Joint - £6.00 and Under 18's - £1.00
