
Unless otherwise specified, you do not need to be a member of the RSPB (or the local group) to join us on our events, and birdwatching experience is not necessary. If you have any questions please call the contact number shown with the event details.
Location: Gatton Park at The Royal Alexandra & Albert School on Rocky Lane, Merstham
A bird walk around Gatton Park starting at 10:30am which will take us round to the hide overlooking one of the lakes. We will then make our way back to the hall for a light lunch (sandwiches, cakes, tea & coffee) at 1:00pm. We will be given a talk about the famous house and gardens and in the afternoon take a further walk possibly to the Japanese Garden or to the woods or lake whichever you prefer. Our annual supper and quiz night proved ever more popular last year. Please note that this is not a "bird quiz" - out of about 80 questions there may be one "bird question". Remember that it's on Saturday night and that the main purpose is to have an enjoyable evening. Bring your friends and something to drink. More information later.
