2011 has been a very interesting year regarding the birdlife in Angus. There were some surprising rarities such as Great White Egret and Dusky Warbler and some ups and downs in the commoner species. The harsh winter decimated numbers of Stonechats in the county but Corn Bunting numbers seem stable and Tree Sparrows seem to have increased in number. More...
