About us
This group provides children (aged 8+) with a programme of indoor and outdoor activities that develops their interest in birds, wildlife and the environment.
The emphasis is on fun ways to learn about nature. Activities include arts and crafts, games, computer studies and talks from visiting naturalists. Outdoor activities include conservation work, games and nature walks (families are welcome). We also organise a family day trip once a year to a nature reserve further away.
The group meets in Fleet, Hampshire and has members from Fleet, Yateley, Farnborough, Aldershot and Farnham.
Most indoor meetings are held at Fleet Methodist Church. Most outdoor meetings are local to Fleet, usually within a 20 minute drive.
Meeting times and costs
Indoor meetings are on the 2nd Friday of every month except August & December, please contact us for the cost. Outdoor meetings are normally on the Sunday afternoon of the same weekend & are usually free. Dates vary so please contact us for details
