Fleet Pond Alphabet Hunt

Fleet Pond Alphabet Hunt

Sunday, 12 October 2008

A group of the Fleet Wildlife Explorers went on a alphabetical wildlife hunt at Fleet Pond on the 12th of October. We all took the challenge to find something wild with a name that begins with each letter of the alphabet.

Amy managed to find the most with 23 letters including Amethyst Deceiver (a fungus) and Knopper Gall (a wasp grub). Nima was our chief photographer and took this fantastic picture of some fungi on a tree stump.
