Bird Bingo At Moor Green Lakes

We met in the car park at 2.30pm and walked to the nearest hide.
When we arrived we were given a sheet to play Bird Bingo. We all enjoyed crossing off the birds when we saw them. We got some sweets if we crossed off a line or a row.
The weather was a little cloudy and the sky was quite grey. There was some drizzle as we started off but it soon cleared up. It wasn't too cold and there was no wind. It was quite muddy under our feet. Then we carried on to the next hide. Here is the list of all the birds we saw.
Blackbird, Blue tit, Canada Goose, Coot, Cormorant, Dunnock, Gadwall, Great Crested Grebe, Great tit, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Greenfinch, Green Woodpecker, Goldcrest, Goosander, Heron, Jay, Kestrel, Lapwing, Long tailed tit, Magpie, Mallard, Moorhen, Mute Swan, Pochard, Robin, Rook, Shelduck, Shoveler, Song Thrush, Teal, Tufted duck, Wigeon, Woodpigeon
