Bingham's Pond Clean-up

A big thank-you to everyone that helped with the clean-up of Bingham's pond. On Saturday 1 December 2007, RSPB volunteers, locals and council staff removed general litter, discarded bottles and cans from this wetland oasis in the middle of the west-end of Glasgow.

Having undertaken this early 'spring clean' the aim is to carry out de-littering on a regular basis so as to prevent the need for any further major clean-ups. If interested please contact rspb.glasgow1972@ntlworld.com

The good news is that on Sunday 3rd the pond was full of birds with a beautiful male Goosander being the star attraction.
