Sponsored Bird watch

The sponsored birdwatch will take place on Sunday 27th January 2008.
Every month we organise an outing to watch birds and generally have an enjoyable day. This month we aim to do the same but whilst also raising funds for the RSPB.
The day will be restricted to the Clyde recording area and will feature teams with up to 4 members. There is no need to travel far; you could spend some time recording the birds in your garden whilst enjoying bacon rolls! Whatever you decide, each team should try and raise much needed funds with a suggested minimum of £20, which could be from a £5 entry fee per member or from sponsorship.
Many of the Committee are leading teams and some have offered to focus on seeing specific species, so if there are some local specialities you have always wanted to see, you can focus on those rather than on a high count. Remember it is a Bird watch not a Bird race.
