This month's indoor meeting featured an exhilarating presentation by Ian Rumley-Dawson about the High Arctic. In addition to learning a lot about Polar Bears we were treated to some impressive slides of the spectacular Aurora Borealis.

This month's coach trip is run jointly with the Stevenage Group. Our destination is Gibraltar Point, near Skegness on the Lincolnshire coast. This RAMSAR site covers 430 hectares: we will be looking for, amongst other things, short-eared owls, red-throated divers, water pipits and other winter visitors. See "events" for further details.
