October News

Graham Kingsnorth is visiting us at "The Settlement" on friday 3 October to tell us how we should be "Gardening for Wildlife". All are welcome: non-members pay £2.00 at the door.

On saturday the 11th we have organised a supermarket collection at Somerfield in Shefford: extra volunteers would be most welcome.

On sunday 19th we once again travel by coach to the north Norfolk coast, this time visiting Holme NWT. We will be looking out for birds entering or leaving the country, as well as those that are happy to stay here all the time! Given the right conditions seabird passage could produce some exciting finds, such as Shearwaters, Divers or Skuas such as Great Skua (pictured).
