New 2009/10 programme of events announced

After the summer break, we have now launched our new annual programme of indoor and outdoor events. Our programme up to December is now available on this website, with spring 2010 events (including free local nature walks) to follow later in the year.

We have a wonderful variety of speakers for our monthly illustrated talks, and our popular weekend coach trips will take us to a range of excellent birding locations, mixing old favourites with some sites that we will visit for the first time. A warm welcome awaits new faces, so if you're looking for an opportunity to enjoy good birding in excellent company, or want to enjoy one of our variety of popular talks, just get in touch. You don't need to be a group member, or even a member of the RSPB, to come alomng - though naturally we hope that having experienced what we can offer you'll want to consider joining!

Our weekend coach trips are so popular that some may already be fully booked, but it is well worth adding your name to our waiting list as we do quite often have cancellations. Remember too that as a local group member, you'll receive notification of our programme before it is published on this website.
