Location: Coach departs 7.30am promptly from Humberstone Gate, Leicester (opposite Sainsbury's). Arrival back in Leicester at approximately 7.30pm.

The Leicester Group are re-visiting one of their favourite reserves, Martin Mere Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust reserve in Lancashire.
A permit is required for entry to the reserve, for which there is an additional cost.
Refreshments are available at the Reserve.

National Nest Box Week

Graham Heninghem from the Leicester Local Group has been invited back to Woodlands Garden Centre near Hinckley during national nestbox week and will be there on 16th, 17th and 18th February to meet the public and promote the RSPB. He will have a supply of information leaflets and be available to answer questions and provide advice on feeding and looking after the birds in your garden, as well as recruiting new members young and old to the RSPB.

Leicester Local Group's Annual General Meeting takes place prior to the May indoor meeting, and will start at 7.15pm on Friday 18th May.
The meeting is brief, and gives an opportunity for the Group's Leader and Treasurer to report on the previous year's activities, and present details of funds raised and money spent to members. The Group's Committee and Auditor are also elected at this time.
The May indoor meeting will start promptly at 7.30pm, so to avoid delaying the start, it would be appreciated if you could please be in your seats before the AGM starts.
