First Local Nature Reserve Planned for Lichfield

Christian Fields is a former landfill site just off Eastern Avenue in Lichfield. Lichfield District Council's Countryside team is leading the declaration of the site as a nature reserve and to help the process along, the team want to know how the local community use the site and what ideas they have for its future management.

Lichfield RSPB are providing local knowledge about the area and are taking part in a fun day and consultation event on 15th March, with an RSPB stall and members of the group providing bird walks around the site.
