In spite of the grey misty day 23 people showed up for the walk which equals our previous highest attendance. The birds had decided to have a lie-in and there were more of us than them.

Our first sighting was a small flock of yellowhammers in a tree near the entrance gate. After that there was little to see. However it was a pleasant walk and enjoyed by the hardy walkers.

Our sightings were:

Yellow Hammer
Robin
Crow
Great Tit
Blue Tit
Magpie
Long Tailed Tit
Tree Creeper
Blackbird

In addition, members of the group heard Pheasant and Nuthatch.

As we left the sun was shining lighting up one of the reserve's rock formations!
