Weekday Walk at Charnwood Lodge

This month's walk around the Charnwood Lodge Reserve attracted 22 members and friends. It was good to hear some of the warblers back and some were lucky enough to see Red kite.

The combined birds list from those who sent to me was as follows:

Dunnock, Pheasant, Canada Goose, Carrion Crow, Yellow hammer, Greenfinch, Chaffinch, Skylark, Nuthatch, Great tit, Mallard, Buzzard, Wren, Jackdaw, Long tailed tit, Green Woodpecker, Sparrow hawk, Great Spotted woodpecker, Mistle thrush, Chiff chaff, Jay, Goldfinch, Pied wagtail, Red Kite, Red legged partridge, Robin, Willow warbler, Meadow pipit.
