VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

Without the support of our Committee Members AND volunteers from among the group, we could not run any outdoor events (and even have to turn down invitations to be present at some!) So, if YOU are able to lend a hand at an event of your choice - even just an hour would be very helpful - please let Group Leader John Barlow know of your interest and then arrange a mutually convenient time for you to come along. You can see John at the monthly Indoor Meetings, or telephone him on 01623-626647. Similarly, you can contact any other Committee Member.

The fact that you are present at an event is all that is needed: don't worry if you do not know a lot about birds - you will learn as you go along! The more helpers we can muster, the more people we shall be likely to attract, with hopefully the prospect of some new members joining the group! So, will YOU come along to our next event to lend a hand for an hour or so? The staffing of these events so often falls on those of the Committee who are available at the time, and to put it bluntly - NO STAFF, NO EVENT!!
