Wendy Radford has been taking in many kinds of orphaned, sick and injured birds and animals for the past ten years and we at the Mansfield Group can testify to her skill and dedication in caring for creatures in need. Although Wendy eventually releases most of her patients back into the wild, some of them are too sick or unable to fend for themselves and these are given a permanent home at the Sanctuary. Wendy is recognised and approved by the RSPCA and has now acquired charitable status.

With Winter approaching, Wendy would welcome any donations towards feeding the many hedgehogs in her care. They have to be looked after indoors and fed during the cold Winter days, until they can be released back into the wild in Spring. Wendy is grateful for all donations of chicken based dog and cat food and she would like to thank everyone who has contributed in the past.

Wendy also operates a very successful Pets' Hotel, caring for a variety of family pets while their owners are on holiday, content in the knowledge that their much loved pets are in safe hands and enjoying the very best of care.
