BIRDS OF PREY - STOP THE KILLING NOW

We wish to draw everyone's attention to the recent report on Peregrine persecution on the main RSPB website. It's in the 'Top Stories' and there is a reference to the Mansfield nest site which has failed in the last four years, due to the chicks being taken. It makes disturbing and heartbreaking reading.

As you are probably aware, the RSPB's appeal to stop killing birds of prey is on-going. If you haven't already done so, please log on to the website and sign the RSPB's Bird of Prey Pledge. For those of you who are Mansfield local group members, a leaflet on the subject was enclosed with your last Newsletter.

Our magnificent birds of prey are precious - they deserve our protection. Please add your name and help the RSPB win the battle against this terrible crime once and for all.
