The following list of birds seen was interesting, the highlight being Cetti's Warbler blasting out its call!
Migrants: 3 singing Chiffchaffs and 3 Green Sandpipers.
Water Birds: Little Grebe, Great Crested Grebe, Cormorant, Grey Heron, Mute Swan, Grey Lag Goose, Canada Goose, Shelduck, Gadwall, Teal, Mallard, Shoveler, Pochard, Tufted Duck, Moorhen, Coot, Black Headed Gull and Common Gull.
Others: Lapwing, Snipe, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Jay, Magpie, Carrion Crow, Wood Pigeon, Collared Dove, Green Woodpecker (up to 4 around, very active), Grey Wagtail, Pied Wagtail, Wren, Dunnock, Robin, Stonechat, Blackbird, Song Thrush, Long Tailed Tit, Coal Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, House Sparrow, Starling, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Goldfinch and Reed Bunting.
Ring Necked Parakeets were seen in an area belonging to Hertfordshire and Middlesex Wildlife Trusts.
