Not the best weather for our visit with heavy rain for 4 hours. However, it became brighter later and the birds responded to it, giving us some good sightings as shown below:

Little Grebe, Gannet, Cormorant, Bittern seen by a few lucky ones during our stay, Little Egret, Grey Heron, Pink Footed Goose, Grey Lag Goose, Brent Goose, Shelduck, Wigeon, Gadwall, Teal, Mallard, Pintail, Shoveler, Eider Duck, Marsh Harriers - 5 in the air at the same time, Kestrel, Grey Partridge, Pheasant, Water Rail, Moorhen, Coot, Oystercatcher, Avocet, Ringed Plover, Golden Plover, Grey Plover, Lapwing, Knot, Sanderling, Dunlin, Ruff, Snipe, Black Tailed Godwit, Bar Tailed Godwit, Curlew, Spotted Redshank, Redshank, Turnstone, Pomarine Skua, Great Skua, Black Headed Gull, Common Gull, Lesser Black Backed Gull, Herring Gull, Great Black Backed Gull, Wood Pigeon, Collared Dove, Kingfisher, Meadow Pipit, Pied Wagtail, Wren, Dunnock, Robin, Blackbird, Mistle Thrush, Bearded Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Coal Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Jay, Magpie, Jackdaw, Rook, Carrion Crow, Starling, House Sparrow, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Linnet and Reed Bunting.

A total of 74 species!
