Local Group at Rising Sun Farm

On October 28th 2009 Carmel McGrath and Marie Ollerenshaw represented the group at an open day at the Rising Sun farm - within the Country Park that was the venue for our birthday event in June.
There were demonstrations of farm equipment and the making of scarecrows, and sales of organic products.
Our stall had lots of interest from the public, and especially from children for whom Marie (shown wearing her Blackbird mask) read a story called the Robin and the Earthmachine.
