Moore Nature Reserve

The reserve lies in a loop of the River Mersey. near the village of Moore. Park near the junction of Lapwing Lane (SJ 578 855). There is a wide variety of habitats which includes pools, woodland and reedbeds.There are no facilities on the reserve. In spring the reserve holds good numbers of warblers whilst in winter wildfowl and Bittern can be seen.There are numerous paths around the reserve and it is easy to spend a whole day there.
