Inaugural indoor talk

Inaugural indoor talk

On a very cold evening in January the first indoor talk of the newly formed N E London Group was held. We were pleased to welcome Helen Booker - Senior Marine Conservation Policy Officer for the RSPB who gave us a fascinating insight into the work that is happening around the world. In particular we were all delighted to hear that efforts to save the albatross are succeeding in stopping the decline of this important creature.

If all talks are as interesting and well attended then we will know that it was the right thing to do to set up the NE London group.

Thanks to Helen and all those who attended and we look forward to seeing more of you in the future.

Check out the events schedule for future dates.
