Hainault Lodge Nature ReserveOwned and managed by the Lonon borough of Redbridge's Nature Conservation Team, this woodland habitat is home to many birds including robins, long tailed tits and woodpeckers - both greater spotted and green.
In addition to this there is also an abundance of other wildlife to be seen including orange tip butterflies (during the summer), Rabbits and Grey Squirrels.
How to get there: The reserve is situated on the western side of the Romford Road (A1112) immediately south of the junction with Forest Road. Access is from Forest Road opposite Forest Park Cemetery (NB there is no direct access onto Forest Road from Romford Road when heading towards Marks Gate/Collier Row).
