PEREGRINES IN NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME

WE NEED YOUR HELP - PEREGRINES IN NEWCASTLE
Peregrines have come to Newcastle-under-Lyme and we need your help to keep a record of sightings.
If you see a peregrine in the area of St Giles Church we would be most grateful if you could use the email address available under "Contact us" to send us the details of date, time, where you saw the bird and whether it was carrying prey. The RSPB North Staffs Local Group has liaised with the St Giles Church authorities to install a nesting box on the church so we are naturally interested in sightings of the birds in the area. This is valuable at any time of year and we are hoping to see lots of activity in the breeding season.
To have breeding peregrines in the borough would be special.
