Adult and children with book and binoculars birdwatching

New Look Website

The RSPB have provided a number of changes to Local Group websites which will enable us to give you more information.

In particular, these changes allow us to begin increasing the number of 'Places to see birds'.

You now have the ability to send us your details if you wish to join the Local Group. 'About Us' now includes a map showing the location where our indoor events are held.

Birds of Wiltshire

Whilst this book is now due to be published in August, it is still possible to order this book at a special pre-publication price.

Supported by many organisations including the RSPB this book records the state of the County's birds at the beginning of the new Millennium. Help needed

With the new look Website we do need your help with adding to the content.

In particular if you know of any good birding spots that could feature in 'Places to see birds' please let us have details and we will try to include them. We are particularly interested in areas that have good access for everyone of whatever age and ability.

Are you a member of our local group and/or have been involved in some activity in the area on behalf of the RSPB please let us know. There is always a danger that we will miss local attempts to raise money for the Society or publicity events that haven't arisen through the local committee.
