Group Visit: "Lights in the Sky"

The group booked a visit to the Norwich Astronomical Society at the Seething Observatory in Norfolk but it was a shame that we were not able to book a clear sky too. The cloudy sky and rain did not bode well for looking at the stars let alone seeing glow worms which was the main reason for our visit. We were shown around the observatory by David, Amanda and Tracy who helped us to find interesting moths, plants and other insects before it started to rain. When the rain began we went inside to the lecture room to listen to an interesting talk by Mark Shepperd which everyone enjoyed. We were then shown around the big telescopes but the cloud prevented us for being able to look at the night sky. The group thoroughly enjoyed their visit and send many thanks to the Norwich Astronomical Society for all their help.
