About us
The group is friendly and informal, it was established in 1974.
We hold regular indoor meetings between September and June. Outdoor meetings are held throughout the year both locally and further afield, including Western Europe.
Members of the public are welcome to attend both indoor, local and regional outdoor meetings. Longer trips are available to group members only.
Group membership for the current year is £10 for individuals or £15 for couples.

Meeting times and costs
Meetings start at 7.45pm. Doors open at 7.15pm. Non-group members and Wildlife Explorer members are welcome to all events. Wildlife Explorer members free. Other visitors are asked to donate £3 towards the cost. Under 16s to be accompanied by an adult.
