The group's aim is to support actively the work of the RSPB in the local community and to involve RSPB members and the wider public in the Society's conservation, public affairs, education, fundraising and other activities. We have regular monthly indoor meetings locally throughout the year and have regular bird walking/nature walks. Please note, you don't have to be a bird expert, there is something for everyone! Whether your interest is mainly in watching birds in your garden, whether you have a lifelong interest in birds, or whether you just like getting out in the great outdoors, in the countryside and among wildlife. Our walks leaders are knowledgeable about birds so it's a great opportunity to learn more about them from the experts if you'd like to!
So, if you would like to have fun and meet like minded people contact us and help make a difference for birds and wildlife.
For more information about local group activities/events, please call Gordon Humby on 02392 353949. For all other enquiries, please call the RSPB South East Regional office on 01273 775333.
