Guided walk at Landguard Point and Trimley Marshes

Location: Meet at the Landguard Bird Observatory, Grid Reference TM278358, Postcode IP11 0DU, at 9 am.
Take the M25/A12/A45 to Felixstowe (allow at least 90 minutes from Sevenoaks and remember Dartford Crossing toll is £1 each way per car). See map link for full details.

A guided visit around the the Landguard Bird Observatory in the morning. In the afternoon a walk at Trimley Marshes. This should be a good area for wetland birds in particular and there should be a good chance of finding a range of migrant species.

Dungeness RSPB Reserve

Location: Meet at the Reserve car park. From the B2075 Rye to Romney road, at Lydd take the Dungeness road. After 1 mile turn right at Boulderwall Farm onto the gravel track leading to the Reserve Centre.

Ian Rumley-Dawson is a popular and therefore regular speaker, and has spent many years volunteering at, and photographing the wildlife of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, one of our favourite field trip venues.

Location: For Elmley, take the A249 from M20 J7. One mile after Kingsferry Bridge, turn right on signposted track for 2 miles to reserve car park.
