The RSPCA, SSPCA (Scotland), USPCA (Northern Ireland)
The RSPCA (England and Wales), SSPCA (Scotland) and USPCA (Northern Ireland) are the national charities that help and advise on sick and injured birds and animals. The RSPB does not run bird hospitals or a rescue service.
Kent Wildlife Trust
The Wildlife Trust for the county of Kent, KWT manages a large number of reserves.
British Trust for Ornithology
The BTO carries out a number of surveys, many of which rely on volunteer input, including Garden Birdwatch, the Breeding Bird Survey and the new Bird Atlas, regulates bird ringing in the UK, and collates information about the status of our resident and migrant birds.
