Field Meeting at Pulborough Brooks

On a dull wet day, only Ray and Fay turned up with me, but despite the weather we saw 48 species which included Marsh Tit, Peregrine, Buzzard, 19 Snipe, and very good views of a pair of Pintail, 1 Reeve (female Ruff) and a few early migrants i.e. Chiffchaff, 40+ Sand Martin and 1 Swallow. We made our way back to the centre by mid afternoon to a nice cup of tea.
