Field Meeting at Pagham

Adult black-tailed godwit in summer plummage, at the RSPB Snettisham nature reserve, Norfolk

A nice mild day, with early sun and increasing cloud later. 60 species were seen, a very good day total.
We walked from Sidlesham Information Centre to Church Norton and back, with lunch on the beach
Of note were 20+ Pintail, at least 6 Little Egrets, Kingfisher, Cetti's Warbler heard. 20 red-breasted Merganser were together on the sea while we had lunch, and the gathering of birds at high tide allowed us to compare Dunlin, Knot, Grey Plover and a few Black-tailed Godwit
