Nazeing Fun & Culture Day

Nazeing Fun & Culture Day

The group had a RSPB stall at this new event in Nazeing, at the LVRPA Clayton Hill site. The event was very well attended, with a park & ride in place to take people around the various sites spread around Nazeing village.

Group leader Terry Smith, his wife Ann and your treasurer, Toby Spencer, were on the stall, (pictured), chatting to people, including quite a few RSPB members, telling them more about our group. We gave blue tit and osprey 'stickers' to the youngsters and we had a RSPB tombola, with singing bird toys amongst the prizes, to raise funds. Chocolates for the losing tickets were very popular! We had a small supply of Christmas goods and books to sell on the stall. The weather was very good, sunny and warm - a bit too hot for us!
