48 sp were seen. The highlights were a male kingfisher, perched along the river just pass the Bailey bridge, giving excellent views and a peregrine on the pylon in front of the Grebe hide, preening and showing well. At least half a dozen Snipe were on the island at the back of 70 Acres in the reeds - a challenge to spot!

Little grebe, great crested grebe, cormorant, grey heron, mute swan, greylag goose, canada goose, wigeon, gadwall, teal, mallard, shoveler, pochard, tufted duck, goldeneye, ruddy duck, kestrel, peregrine, pheasant, water rail, moorhen, coot, lapwing, snipe, green sandpiper, black-headed gull, common gull, woodpigeon, kingfisher, great spotted woodpecker, wren, dunnock, robin, blackbird, fieldfare, goldcrest, long-tailed tit, great tit, blue tit, jay, magpie, jackdaw, carrion crow, starling, chaffinch, greenfinch, siskin and reed bunting.
Other wildlife:
Grey Squirrel.
