Morning walk at Fishers Green to learn more about our local birds

14 supporters joined Ann & Terry on todays walk, it was very cold -dry at first then light snow!

Despite the poor visibility 44 sp were seen, with highlights being the sightings of 3 treecreepers, at least 4 female goldeneye, good close views of redwing and several glimpses of kingfishers.

44 Species seen:
Little grebe, great crested grebe, cormorant, grey heron, mute swan, canada geese, wigeon, gadwall, teal, mallard, shoveler, pochard, tufted duck, goldeneye, moorhen, coot, lapwing, black-headed gull, common gull, lesser black backed gull, woodpigeon, kingfisher, green and great spotted woodpeckers, pied wagtail, wren, dunnock, robin, blackbird, song thrush, redwing, long-tailed tit, great tit, blue tit, treecreeper, jay, magpie, carrion crow, chaffinch, greenfinch, goldfinch, siskin, bullfinch and reed bunting.
