16 supporters joined Terry on this walk and 54 sp were seen.
Highlights were a Little egret flying overhead, as we walked back from the farm, sightings of several Common buzzards perched in trees on the farm, a male Yellowhammer on bushes by the animal barns and male and female Goldeneye on the Lake and in the channel.
54 Species seen:
Little grebe, great crested grebe, cormorant, grey heron, Little egret, mute swan, canada geese, greylag geese, Egyptian geese, wigeon, gadwall, teal, mallard, shoveler, pochard, tufted duck, goldeneye, sparrowhawk, buzzard, kestrel, pheasant, moorhen, coot, lapwing, black-headed gull, common gull, lesser black backed gull, stock dove, woodpigeon, collared dove, green and great spotted woodpeckers, skylark, pied wagtail, wren, dunnock, robin, blackbird, fieldfare, redwing, mistle thrush, long-tailed tit, great tit, blue tit, magpie, jackdaw, carrion crow, starling, house sparrow, chaffinch, greenfinch, goldfinch, bullfinch and yellowhammer.
Other wildlife seen: Fallow deer, seen on the fields across the Crooked Mile, and rabbits.
