TITCHFIELD HAVEN 4th SEPTEMBER 2007

Tuesday, 4 September 2007
23 members visited Titchfield Haven - another fine and sunny day - chalking up yet another impressive list of 68 species. This reserve seldom disappoints in providing good sightings of a large selection of bird species from the 6 viewing hides. Up to 3 Sparrowhawks roamed over the area, a Knot on the South Scrape, a Whinchat and 2 Wheatears plus 4 Yellow Wagtails with the cattle on the grazing marsh, and a Bearded Tit on the edge of a reed-bed provided the pick of the days' sightings.
