Special event for our group's 30th anniversary - 20th March 2010 - 'Behind the Lens' by Janet Sumner

The presentation will show how wildlife films are made and give an insight into the problems that are faced by someone who has both presented BBC wildlife programmes and been invoved in their production.
She has presented in front of the camera on the BBC series 'Nature of Britain', 'Nature's Calendar' and 'Nature's Top40' and been involved in the production of 'Coast', 'Life' and 'Life in Cold Blood', amongst many others. She is almost unique in the world of TV wildlife programmes by experiencing life on both sides of the camera.
She has even been given permission to screen a copy of David Attenborough's out-takes from 'Life in Cold Blood', the BAFTA award winning documentary BBC series which she worked on.
If you loved the end sequence of the new 'LIFE' series when they explain just how they managed to get some of the great shots in the programme, showing all their pain, frustration and elation, you will love this evening. A once in a lifetime opportunity so don't miss it.
