Events

EVeryone is welcome at our events, whether or not they are RSPB members, though costs may vary between members and non-members. If you would like to help at an event, we would love to hear from you - either use the contact details for the event, or go to the 'Contact Us' page.

Our indoor meetings are well-attended and popular - don't worry if you are not an expert, not many of us are, so you will be in good company! The same goes for the Field Trips - and they are an excellent way of learning more about the birds we see. If you would like a Programme that you can print, go to the 'News' page, where you will find an item entitled 'Programme on Website', from which a Programme can be downloaded.

June 2012 Field Trip - Ynys Hir

Location: Departs from South Parade car-park, Sutton Coldfield (parking 90p)

Mid-summer in a Welsh woodland, the air full of the song of warblers, redstarts and pied flycatchers flicking through the trees, while over to the estuary, waders and ducks breed and feed, buzzards and maybe even osprey soar - a superb prospect (but no guarantees!).

Sorry about the change from the advertised venue, Mawddach Valley, but changed road conditions made parking difficult and facilites are more attractive at Ynys Hir - and Springwatch will be broadcasting from there too!
