Quiz Night 2007 Funds
Last year saw our first ever quiz night and thanks to Diana, our secretary, Alan and Francis Dane, quiz master and recorder and many other helpers, we made a profit of £786.44 for the RSPB, which together with other monies, we have sent a cheque to the RSPB for £2,000: £1,000 towards Cliffe pools reserve, £500 to the Albatross appeal and £500 for the Sumatran Rainforest appeal. Earlier this year we sent £1,000 towards the management of Broadwater warren and it is hoped that it will be a reserve enjoyed by many. The warden is Caroline Fitzgerald and she will welcome members able to help with bird, butterfly and plant surveys and working parties.
