Water rail feeding at waters edge

Wednesday had been a really good sunny day with around 30 species recorded including water rail, firecrest and chiffchaff. On the Saturday the seawall was closed due to strong wind and the reserve was more busy than usual perhaps due to more than usual amount of visitors being attracted by using free "visit Kent" vouchers. The group struggled to see many birds on this visit although a peregrine was seen.
