All walks are aimed at helping people who are beginners or who want to improve their identification skills. There is no charge for walks but a donation to the Team is welcome.

Inexperienced Birdwatchers Walk at Venford Reservoir

Location: Venford Reservoir on Dartmoor near Holne. Pass through Holne village to the west of Buckfastleigh and take the road towards Hexworthy. On reaching Venford Reservoir cross the bridge and the car park is immediately on the right (O.S. Grid Ref.SX685713)

A beautiful mornings walk on the edge of Dartmoor looking over the Dart valley. We hope to Stonechats, Wheatears, Whitethroats, Skylarks and Cuckoo.
Toilets at the car park.

Time: 10.00am to about 1.00pm
