Much more than an AGM!

Our guest judge from the RSPB East of England office, Steve Rowland spoke about wildlife photography before judging our competition. Peter Draper gave a very enthusiastic account of last year's trip to Norfolk, inspiring people to book for 2011. And Brian O'Riordan fascinated us with a talk about his trip to Antarctica.

A record 48 photos were entered in our competition which was jointly judged by Steve Rowland and Chris Skinner from Watford Camera Club.
The winner was Brian O'Riordan with a wood duck. Second David Evans' bullfinch. Third Bob Tompkins with a squacco heron and fourth Jenny Hill's greylag goose.
The prize for audience vote was awarded to a puffin with its beakful of sand eels by Anne Edwards.
