Big Garden Birdwatch
On the Saturday of the Big Garden Birdwatch weekend we will run a guided walk at Stockers Lake. The walk will start at 10.15 am from the Aquadrome Car Park. All welcome. See some of the winter ducks as well as some of the birds you may find in your garden. We wish to encourage people to take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch. The records made contribute to knowledge about trends in bird populations and to decisions about conservation priorities.
Before that you have the opportunity to learn more about the BTO Garden Bird Watch, how this differs from Big Garden Birdwatch and the similarities and also the history of Stockers Lake at our talk on 11th January at The Stanborough Centre
