Look out for tree sparrow and yellow hammer around the car parking area. Other birds to see are stonechat, linnet, sedge and grasshopper warblers in the summer.
On the ponds you will find good numbers of wildfowl including tufted duck, mallard, teal, wigeon, pochard, goldeneye. There are resident greylags and canada goose and winter vistors of pinkfoot are regulars and Greenland whitefronts have been recorded.
Raptors include kestrel, sparrowhawk, buszzard, barn owl, short eared owl and hen harrier.
The site is wheelchair friendly.
